Christmas Lunch Cruises

Join the Bywater team for a Christmas cruise this year!

Step aboard our traditional narrowboat which you’ll find moored at the Saltisford Canal Trust just outside Warwick center. You’ll be welcomed with a mug of mulled wine and homemade mince pies and the glow of our solid fuel stove.

Your cruise begins at 10:30 as we make our way down the locks around the Cape of Good Hope. An hour of lock free cruising takes us through the countryside between Warwick and Leamington Spa, with views of the River Avon as the canal crosses over.

As we turn the boat for the return trip, you’ll begin your four course Christmas feast, arriving back in Warwick, around 2:00pm, as you finish your after lunch coffee with homemade Christmas fudge.

This is a four hour cruise along the Grand Union canal, from the Saltisford Canal Centre in Warwick to Royal Leamington Spa and back. The cruises commence at 10:00 am and finish at 2:00 pm. The cruises are for six to eight people and cost £85 per person. The cost includes a welcome drink and mince pies, a four course lunch with a glass of fizz and your trip along the canal. Car parking is available at the Saltisford Canal Centre for a small extra charge.
